Cooking school talents take up the challenge with VEAL 

On sunday september 9th, the first day of Chefs (R)Evolution, the fourth edition of the cookingchallence for students of Sterklas of the ROC Amsterdam will be held. De Sterklas is an initiative of the Gilde van Nederlandse Meesterkoks. The challence is an intitiative of Chefs (R)Evolution, Sterklas and VanDrie Group.

Every team consists of two students of the Sterklas, where the preference is the team exists of a student from the first year and a student of the second year. The contest takes place in Librije’s Atelier. Every team may, before the start of the contest, choose a black bos. In every black box a technical part of veal can be found and a organ. The teams have to use these two products and finally transform these into a main dish. The teams have 1,5 hours time for this.

The jury, Julius Jaspers with among others, will judge the dishes from 11.30 am and on. The award ceremony will take place at 13.00.

From 11.00 am and on, Librije’s Atelier is open for visitors to spectate this cooking battle.
