Having presented a pioneer of the new Russian avant-garde with Vladimir Mukhin 2016, we are presenting two shooting stars of this genre this year. Ivan and Sergey Berezutskiy gained relevant experience in the world’s top restaurants before opening their Twins Garden restaurant at the age of 30. The product range is purely Russian. The two themselves scout through their huge country. For example, fish, algae and crabs from Kamchatka travel more than twice as far as seafood from Europe. However, such seafood would be hard to get. The trade sanctions that have prevailed since 2014 have promoted the trend towards domestic products in Russia. Good for the local farmers. Good for the experiences of gourmets.
